OPEN HOUSE ANNOUNCEMENT: In-Store Contest Answer
If you have been in the store during our Open House and entered into the in-store contest, we are announcing the answers!
Q: What was it?
A: The nest was a mud wasp nest.
Q: How does it help around the farm?
A: The mud wasp, after making its nest, and laying its eggs, inserts live insects and spiders into the tubes for larvae to eat. They will make nests on walls near doorways. So for those who don’t like spiders, the mud wasp is extra beneficial.
Forest Glen Herb Farm will contact the winner by phone!
In the meantime, visit our Open House before Christmas to get herbs, spices, gifts, or whatever else you might need for the Christmas Season.
We have 20 varieties of our delicious home-made pepper jelly for sale.

Last weekend yoga was held at the Farm for over two dozen people by Inner Dawn Yoga – under blue skies and our huge willow tree.
Delicious herb-infused beverages were prepared as well:

At the Farm the diversity of our garden plants attract varieties of insect, bird, and animal species. This organically assists in pollination and plant health without the assistance of pesticides.
