We are happy to announce we are now part of Ontario Southwest’s Signature Experience Program. Our Herb and Dried Flower Bouquet Experience is a special experience that complements our other Classes.
During the experience, you’ll learn about the history and traditional uses of various herbs and plants, then create your own bouquet using your choice of plant materials and colours. Your finished bouquet can be displayed in a vase, on a wall, or on a door, and will last for years.
You’ll also make a lavender sachet using hand-rubbed lavender buds, enjoy a cup of herb tea, and watch a demonstration on making herbal vinegar and salad dressing. After the workshop, you’re welcome to explore our garden centre and retail space, located in a historic barn built prior to 1870, where herbs and flowers dry from the rafters and every corner is filled with plants, creating the feeling of stepping into another world.
